Dear Friends,

BiharBrains is going to complete its fifth year on Oct 4, 2009. During these periods, we took effort to unite people of Bihar living in India and abroad and execute development projects in Bihar.  Our some projects like Bihar Science Conference (A Global Conference on Science & Technology), Manthan (A Research online journal) and BiharBrains Scholastic Center Project have become fertile ground for making a difference in the state.

I feel proud to say that because of our consistent effort and dedication towards development of the motherland, our forum is now recognized as “Global Development Forum for Bihar” where people participate in serious discussion and contribute for the implementation of the projects. The recent “Bihar Asmita Samman, 2009” is a great honor for us and has added fuel to the fire.

This all has happened due to your support and guidance. On this occasion, I heartily congratulate all our global members, associates and well wishers on behalf of organization.

I am summarizing all events and programs that took place during Oct 2008 to Sept 2009. This will give us input to assess ourselves and may also help in planning for the next year in the more energetic manner.

 Science and Technology

1. Dec 21: Organized felicitation ceremony of Konkuk University,korea team visit, Led by Prof. Hoon Taek Lee

2. Dec22: MOU Signed between College of commerce and Konkuk University in Biotechnology

3. Jan 30 to Feb 1: 2nd Bihar Science Conference organized.

4. Feb 1: Meeting of Global Scientific council organized.

5. AUG 28, 2009: Global Scientific council meeting organized 

Human Resources and Development

1. Sept 29: RPS Yojna started at Sohagaar Village (24 students were given scholarship under BB Needy Talent Search Scheme, sponsored by Dr. Kartik Sahay, USA

2. Oct 16, 2008: Manthan got ISSN no                 

3. Dec 12, 2008: CPDHR Inaugurated by Prof. RP Sinha, Former VC, Mithila University.       

4. Aug 9, 2009: Seminar on Women and employment organized

5. Aug 9, 2009:  New Website Layout released

1. Sept 20, 2008: BB UK Chapter and Bihar Foundation meet at Wasal, UK:

3. Dec 7, 2008: online global conference meeting organized
